Sasha Wajnryb, Director of Studies

Sasha has been teaching English since 1999 to all levels of students in Australia and South America. He comes from a teaching family. As a child his family often hosted homestay students, so he grew up speaking and living with international students. Sasha began teaching while at university. He is an experienced IELTS teacher and co-wrote the IELTS in Context textbook series. He is also an IELTS Speaking and Writing examiner. He has worked in a variety of roles in ELICOS colleges, including Director of Studies, Director of Academic Programs and Academic Counsellor. As well as developing Greenwich’s courses and supporting the teachers, Sasha meets all of our students and always provides useful advice to help them achieve their academic goals. Sasha loves studying and has recently completed his studies in Migration Law at Australian National University and a Master of Applied Linguistics from Macquarie University.
