The Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) is awarded by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, UK and is recognised all over the world. CAE is ideal if you want to use English effectively in social and professional situations and for higher education purposes.

Overview

The Greenwich College course is designed to prepare students to pass the CAE exam by developing languages skills and confidence in the tested areas of Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing, and Use of English. CAE caters to the more advanced level English student. Strong results in these tests allow students to work in many industries where regular contact with English speakers is required.

Cambridge CAE can help students:

  • Develop advanced real world English skills in speaking, writing, reading and listening
  • Learn to use and select the right grammar to convey your ideas fluently in English
  • Refine test taking skills with weekly practice tests

Greenwich College is a certified computer based Cambridge Test Centre, which means students studying for the CAE can complete the Cambridge English exam in a familiar setting.

Official Cambridge Test Centre
Greenwich College is an official Cambridge Computer-Based Testing Centre and many of our teachers are trained Cambridge Examiners offering the best insights to help you succeed in your test. You do not have to do the official Cambridge test; however those who want to get an official measure of their English usually like to take the test at the end of the course and receive an official Cambridge certificate.

I arrived in Australia in
2009 unable to speak a word
of English. After two years
of study here and the
completion of the FCE and
CAE courses I now feel
confident in beginning a
university degree next year.
The great learning
