The Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) is awarded by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, UK and is recognised all over the world. Our FCE course is ideal if you want to work and study abroad or develop a career which requires English speaking and overall language skills.

Overview

The Cambridge First Certificate in English is designed for upper-intermediate English language students who are looking for a certification to demonstrate their English ability. A pass in the FCE exam will be helpful for students who need to prove that they can use every day written and spoken English at an upper-intermediate level for study or work purposes.

Cambridge FCE can help students:

  • Convey ideas fluently in English by learning about differences in grammar and sentence structure
  • Understand English use in a day to day environment
  • Develop English skills in speaking, writing, reading and listening at an upper-intermediate level to improve your daily communication
  • Refine their test taking skills with weekly practice tests

About the Cambridge English Language Test
Both the FCE and CAE Cambridge certifications are valid for life and are internationally recognised by employers and organisations.

Both the FCE and CAE Cambridge courses are very similar in their structure, subject matter and focus, but you will need a higher entry score to be eligible for CAE, which caters to the more advanced level student.
