If you are interested in teaching students from junior high school, high school or in private adult English learning centres, TESOL is for you. Learn about Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in our TESOL Foundation course, designed to help new teachers who have no experience in teaching English get on the right path for a successful teaching career.

Overview

Your first step to becoming a great English teacher, our TESOL Foundation teacher training course is for those who have no experience in teaching English or for those who need some extra confidence in their overall English skills.
This 4-week communicative course prepares students for the Certificate IV in TESOL program and is taught by TESOL professional teachers. TESOL Foundation helps:

  • Build presentation and discussion skills
  • Develop writing, reading, listening and grammar English skills that are required to complete our teacher training courses

Small class sizes make this program ideal for those who would like to build their confidence presenting in English. Students who graduate from the TESOL Foundation course gain direct entry into the Certificate IV TESOL course.
