Certificate IV in English for Academic Purposes
Course Information:
- This course is designed especially for students looking to study in universities and colleges in Australia. Greenwich College has numerous academic pathways that enable graduates from this program to meet the English proficiency requirements for entry into some of Australia’s finest universities.
- EAP is designed to improve students’ academic English language skills before going on to higher education in an English-speaking country
- The focus is on helping students to be successful at the tasks done at university, such as seminar presentations, essay assignments and listening and understanding lectures
- Communicative learning methods are used to improve your English as quickly as possible
- Assessments focus on the kind of tasks you will have to undertake at university
- On successful completion of the course, not only will your English have improved, but you will be well prepared for university study and will also have a qualification (91123NSW Certificate IV in English for Academic Purposes)

DURATION AND HOURS
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm
- 12 or 16 weeks at 25 hours face-to-face teaching per week
- No ‘self study’ periods
- Contact Greenwich College for start dates
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- 5.5 IELTS General Training Module; or
- TOEIC/TOEFL equivalent; or
- Greenwich College Entry Test every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00am
