Shin Shimizu, General Manager
B HR/Business; Cert IV TAA; PADI MSDT/MFAIShin was born in Australia to Japanese parents and grew up in the small coastal town of Byron Bay. He came to Sydney in 2001 and has worked in various Educational institutes. He brings to Greenwich College his knowledge of college operations and international student and agent needs. Shin keeps himself extremely busy ensuring the smooth running of each of the Greenwich College campuses, but on his days off he still enjoys the sun and surf, just like the old days in Byron Bay.
Sasha Wajnryb, Director of Studies
M App Ling, Grad Cert Australian Migration Law and Practice, Grad Cert in Language Program Management, BA (Linguistics), CELTA, Cert IV TAA, JPSasha has been teaching English since 1999 to all levels of students in Australia and South America. He comes from a teaching family. As a child his family often hosted homestay students, so he grew up speaking and living with international students. Sasha began teaching while at university. He is an experienced IELTS teacher and co-wrote the IELTS in Context textbook series. He is also an IELTS Speaking and Writing examiner. He has worked in a variety of roles in ELICOS colleges, including Director of Studies, Director of Academic Programs and Academic Counsellor. As well as developing Greenwich’s courses and supporting the teachers, Sasha meets all of our students and always provides useful advice to help them achieve their academic goals. Sasha loves studying and has recently completed his studies in Migration Law at Australian National University and a Master of Applied Linguistics from Macquarie University.
Roxana Ene, Assistant Director of Studies
IDLTM, BA (Ling & Lit); Cert IV TESOL; CERT IV TAA; Adv Dip in Bus MgtAfter 5 years of teaching in high schools in Romania Roxi moved to Sydney where she gained TESOL qualifications and continued doing what she loves so much. She has now been at Greenwich College for 4 years, teaching GE, IELTS and TESOL. As the Assistant Director of Studies, Roxi manages all of the Greenwich College Evening programs; providing guidance and support to all of our Evening students and teachers. Roxi is a Speaking and Writing IELTS examiner and has recently completed IDLTM at the University of Queensland.

Our Marketing team is responsible for working closely with students, agents and industry professionals, while informing our Academic department of the products and services that our customers demand. Each member of our team is a product specialist and should be consulted when finding that ideal study solution.
English Teachers
Greenwich College is a preferred choice for English teachers. We employ teachers with wide-ranging teaching experience who are passionate and committed to structuring the best possible classes for their students. Many of our English teachers are official IELTS and Cambridge test Examiners, making Greenwich College one of the leading test preparation centres in Sydney.
