What will I do on my first day at Greenwich College?

Registration and Orientation sessions are generally held on Fridays during which students will receive important information and will be given their English books and class allocation if they have already taken their English Placement Test. Students who haven't done their English Placement Test will have to take the test first in order to receive their class allocation and books. The first day of class is then the following Monday. At some campuses, the registration and orientation sessions are held on Mondays following the same procedures.

Will I have access to computers?

Some campuses offer access to computers with internet connection usually located in the student breakout area. It is, however, recommended to bring your own laptop if you would like to use it during or after class. Greenwich College also offers free WIFI for students across all our campuses.

How much will my English improve?

This varies for every student. On average, students studying English courses at Greenwich College move from one level to the next in approximately 8-10 weeks. If you work hard and speak only English while you are here, you should improve quickly. It is always best to talk to your teacher about your progression.
